Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT CLAIRO?

Originally from Carlisle, Massachusetts, Clairo is an American singer-songwriter. At the age of 13, Clairo began uploading music on the internet. Clairo’s low-fi smash “Pretty Girl” music video was a huge hit in 2017, and she became a household figure as a result. In 2013, when she was still a teen, she started posting her songs on social media and became noted for her low-key singing style.

A native of Carlisle, Massachusetts, Claire Cottrill was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 18, 1998. Having been born and raised in the United States of America, she is a naturalized American citizen. She, too, is in her early twenties. Allie Cottrill and Geoff Cottrill are her parents. Geoff has previously worked for Coca-Cola, Converse, and Starbucks. In terms of her siblings or early life, we have little information. Cottrill was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of seventeen. Clairo attended Syracuse University as of 2017.

Cottrill began performing cover songs at the age of 13 in venues such as Blue Dry Goods. At the time, MTV recorded a song for one of their shows, but it was never used. She described it as “the first record I really absolutely geeked out about,” and she attributes her interest in songwriting to the Shins. In “Wincing the Night Away,” Her musical career was “sort of whatever I wanted” because so many people around her warned her against it.

Under the pseudonyms Clairo and DJ Baby Benz, Clairo and DJ Baby Benz began releasing music to Bandcamp. Her next move was to turn to SoundCloud, where she began posting rap remixes and covers. Music videos and short films were uploaded to her channel on the video-sharing website YouTube. On December 31, 2017, the video for Clairo’s song “Pretty Girl” went viral on YouTube, and the rest is history. To raise money for the Transgender Law Center, the song was recorded on a charity rock CD.

In her defense, the singer claims that she “used the resources around me, which were pretty horrible” when she made the album. My passion for keyboard music was sparked by my mother’s love of ’80s pop music. She thanked YouTube’s algorithm engine for attracting attention in the video. Vampire-related Facebook groups quickly became inundated with the video. More than three million people have viewed the month-old film “Flamin Hot Cheetos,” which had been posted to YouTube. The success of “Pretty Girl” drew the attention of major record labels like Capitol, RCA, and Columbia. A 12-song record deal was struck by The Fader co-founder Jon Cohen, who also connected Clairo to Chance the Rapper’s agent Pat Corcoran.

She inked a contract with Haight Brand towards the end of 2017 and became a client of the agency. Clairo’s debut album, Diary 001, was released on Fader Label on May 25th, 2018 to positive reviews. There are “legions of doubters who have dismissed her as a one-hit fluke or an industry plant,” Sasha Geffen writes in Pitchfork’s review of the EP. From “Pretty Girl” and “Flamin Hot Cheetos”-era bedroom pop to tunes such as ‘4EVER,’ ‘B.O.M.D.,’ “4EVER,” and ‘Flamin Hot Cheetos,” the album is “bridging two universes.”

Her headline North American tour with Dua Lipa was announced the following month. In July of this year, she played at the Bowery Ballroom to a sold-out crowd. Lollapalooza was held in October of last year, and she played there. She made her Coachella debut at the festival this year. Clairo unveiled “Bags,” the lead single from her debut album Immunity, on May 24th, announcing the album’s arrival. From the album, “Sofia” and “Closer to You” are two of the singles. In August 2019, Apple Music named Clairo an Up Next artist as a result of the album’s commercial success.

Clairo sang “I Wouldn’t Ask You” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in September, followed by “Bags” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show two days later. Clairo won Pop Album of the Year at the Boston Music Awards for the second year in a row. The song “Bags” was listed in more than a dozen critics’ best-of-the-decade lists, including Pitchfork and Paste. Some of the outlets that included Immunity in their year-end best-of lists include The Guardian, Pitchfork, Billboard, and the Los Angeles Times.

It’s no surprise. Mike Ahern and Jimmy Bui were the co-founders and co-leaders of Clairo as of 2019. “The first record I really totally geeked out over,” she added of the Shins’ Wincing the Night Away, was “the first album I really fully credited” for her starting to write music. In the face of the advice of so many people around her, she didn’t think a career in music was in her future.

Clairo and DJ Baby Benz were identities she used on Bandcamp when she was a Concord-Carlisle High School student. On SoundCloud, she later uploaded remixes and covers of rap music. Aside from her YouTube account, she also maintained a website where she posted music and short films. Clairo originally came to the public’s attention late in 2017, when the music video for her song “Pretty Girl” became popular on YouTube. In order to earn money to support the Transgender Law Center, the song was being produced for an indie rock album.

She says she recorded the music with “the resources surrounding me, which were pretty awful.” When I was little, I had a miniature keyboard that I used to play a lot because my mother was a huge fan of 1980s pop music. It was YouTube’s algorithm that drew viewers’ attention to the video, she said. In vaporwave-centric Facebook groups, the video went viral almost immediately. 3 million people had viewed a video about “Flamin’ Hot Cheetos” that was put on YouTube just a month ago. The success of “Pretty Girl” piqued the curiosity of major record labels including Capitol, RCA, and Columbia.

Jon Cohen, the co-founder of The Fader, gave Clairo a 12-song record contract and brought her to Pat Corcoran, the manager of Chance the Rapper. After the end of 2017, she became a client of the Haight Brand talent agency. On May 25, 2018, Fader Label released Clairo’s debut album, Diary 001. According to Sasha Geffen’s review on Pitchfork, “legions of skeptics who rejected her as a one-hit fluke or an industry plant” should be silenced by the EP. Joe Coscarelli of The New York Times described the album as “bridging two universes,” extending from “Pretty Girl” and “Flamin Hot Cheetos”-era bedroom pop to tracks like “4EVER” and “B.O.M.D.”

She performed at the Bowery Ballroom in July of this year to a sold-out crowd. In October of last year, she performed at Lollapalooza. She performed at Coachella in 2019. Amplified by the release of “Bags,” she announced the release of her debut album Immunity on May 24. “Sofia” and “Closer to You” were released as additional singles from the album, which was released on August 12, 2019. Apple Music named Clairo an Up Next artist in August 2019 because of the commercial success of the album.
