Divya Spandana was born on November 29, 1982, in Karnataka, India. She was known by her film industry name Ramya. She is an Indian film actress and also a politician. She completed her schooling at St. Hilda’s school in Ooty, and in Sacred Heart School, Chennai. She completed her graduation from St. Joseph’s Commerce College, Bangalore. She mostly acts in Kannada movies and also acts in Tamil and Telugu films.
Career:
She initiated her acting career in the film Abhi in 2003, opposite Kannada actor Puneet Rajkumar. She eventually starred in many Kannada films with many famous south Indian lead actors and, following successive commercial box-office hits, established herself as one of the best and most sought after actresses in the film industry. Ramya appeared in the Tamil film industry in the film Kuththu in 2004. Her most memorable films are Ranga S. S. L. C., Excuse Me, Kanti, Amrithadhare, Aakash, Tananam Tananam, Mussanjemaatu, etc.
She starred in the famous Tamil director Gautham Menon ‘s National Film Award-winning film “Vaaranam Aayiram” in front of actor Surya, who made her home the name of the Southern film industry.
