The South African television and radio broadcaster DJ Sbu was born Sibusiso Leope on May 28, 1977, in Tembisa. He has had a significant impact on the industry, as seen by his body of work. He worked as a weekend programme producer and host for about a year and a half. Sibusiso left the radio station in 1999 and joined YFM, a station based in Johannesburg, in 2000. He developed and hosted a weekend show called Beauty and the Beast with Angela Ludek at his new place of employment. His extensive production knowledge allowed him to experiment with a wide range of products. In Hang Time, he serves as the film’s creative mind (2000).
