Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Ellen Barkin?

She is best known for her role in the hit sitcom ‘Three’s Company,’ where she played a supporting role. She was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, the middle of a family of four.  As a result of her father’s job in the military, Priscilla spent a significant portion of her childhood living on various military bases across the United States. After her graduation, she moved to San Diego on her own after her family relocated to Lancaster, California. Bob Hope, who had seen her modeling, encouraged her to pursue an acting career, and she eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue it full-time.

She made her acting debut in the 1976 television series ‘Cannon,’ where she played a small role. The following year, she appeared in a small role in the film ‘Tintorera,’ which was her film debut. After appearing in a number of subsequent films and television series, her big break came in 1981 when she was cast as ‘Terri Alden’ in the sitcom titled ‘Three’s Company.’ Magda Andel was her most recent role in the romantic drama series “Jane the Virgin.”

They had three other siblings, so she grew up in a big family. Because her father was in the ‘US Air Force,’ the family was constantly on the move, living in different ‘Air Force’ bases across the country. As a result, she was constantly on the move for the first few years of her life.

Priscilla finished high school in Lancaster, California, where the family finally settled. Antelope Valley High School was where she went to school. Priscilla’s teenage years were dominated by her passion for dancing rather than acting. During her preteen years, she had become a member of a group called ‘The Vivacious Vixens.’

When she broke her leg while performing at the ‘Hollywood Bowl,’ her aspirations of becoming a professional dancer were dashed. Academically, she was a mediocre student whose passions shifted naturally toward acting.

At the age of 17, Priscilla moved to San Diego after graduating from high school in search of work in the entertainment industry. She worked odd jobs to make ends meet during her first few years there. The waitress also competed in beauty pageants like “Miss California” and “Miss Hollywood,” but she has never crowned the winner. She had finished as first runner-up as well as being named ‘Miss Photogenic’ in the previous pageant.

Priscilla’s life was changed forever when she met Bob Hope by chance at a fashion show. In 1973, he invited her to perform with his group at the ‘Walter Reed Army Medical Center,’ and she accepted his invitation.  She then relocated to Los Angeles, where she began auditioning for roles in television and film. In 1976, Priscilla made her acting debut in the television series ‘Cannon,’ in which she had a small role. Her next role was in the B-grade horror film Tintorera, which came out the following year.

A supporting role in the independent film Beyond Reason as “Leslie Valentine” was offered to her in 1977. Her acting abilities were deemed unworthy of leading roles, and she was cast in mostly supporting roles as a young woman with a lot of guts. The Rockford Files, Taxi, and The Love Boat were among the shows in which she appeared in small roles after “The Incredible Hulk.”

She continued to appear in small roles in forgettable films like “Texas Detour,” “Delta Fox,” and “The Seniors” into the 1980s.

She landed a few higher-paying parts on television. In 1978, she appeared in the series ‘The American Girls,’ where she played a travel reporter named Rebecca Tomkins. Even though it was her first major acting role, the show was a commercial and critical flop.

‘Sunday Lovers’ was an erotic comedy she starred in with strong undertones in 1980. An Englishman’s Home, one of the four tales in the anthology film, featured Priscilla as a leading lady named Donna.

Her big break came in the following year when she was cast as one of the main characters in the sitcom titled ‘Three’s Company.’ She was hired to take over the role of ‘Terri Alden,’ who had been played by actress Suzanne Somers. Commercially and critically, the show was a smash.

It was until 1984 that she continued to appear in the sitcom despite her growing dissatisfaction with both her role and the show’s producers. When asked about being typecast in a comedic role, she said that she loathed it despite the fact that ‘Three’s Company’ made her famous.

In fact, she turned down the opportunity to play ‘Willie Scott’ in Steven Spielberg’s ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’ in 1984 because she was too busy with ‘Three’s Company.’

Aside from her film roles, she appeared in shows like “The Love Boat,” “Murder, She Wrote,” and “Hotel” during the 1980s. ‘Licence to Kill,’ in which she played the wife of a CIA agent, played a major role in her filmography.
