Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT FILM ACTOR MOHANLAL?
Mohanlal Viswanathan (born May 21, 1960), better known by his stage name Mohanlal, is an Indian actor, producer, playback singer, and distributor who works primarily in Malayalam films but has also acted in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. Mohanlal, one of India’s most admired performers, has acted in over 340 films throughout the course of his four-decade career. He is widely recognised as one of the greatest actors in Indian movie history. He has also starred in films in other Indian languages besides Malayalam.. For his services to Indian cinema, the Indian government awarded him the Padma Shri in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan in 2019, India’s fourth and third highest civilian honours, respectively. He was the first Indian actor to be given the honorary title of Lieutenant colonel in the Territorial Army in 2009. In 2010 and 2018, he earned honorary doctorates from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit and University of Calicut, respectively.
Mohanlal made his acting debut at the age of 18 in the Malayalam film Thiranottam in 1978, however due to censorship concerns, the film was delayed in distribution for 25 years. He made his cinema debut as the antagonist in the 1980 romantic picture Manjil Virinja Pookkal. In the years that followed, he continued to play villains and climbed to secondary lead roles. After acting in several successful films in 1986, he established himself as a bankable leading actor and acquired celebrity; the crime thriller Rajavinte Makan released that year heightened his stardom. Although Mohanlal favours Malayalam films, he has also starred in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. The Tamil political drama Iruvar (1997), the Hindi crime thriller Company (2002), and the Telugu film Janatha Garage are among his best-known non-Malayalam films (2016).
On May 21, 1960, Mohanlal Viswanathan was born in the hamlet of Elanthoor in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. He is the youngest child of Viswanathan Nair, a former Kerala government employee and Law Secretary, and Santhakumari. Pyarelal, his older brother, was his only sibling (died in 2000, during a military exercise). At his paternal house in Thiruvananthapuram, Mohanlal grew up at Mudavanmugal. Mohanlal’s first role was in a theatrical play called Computer Boy, in which he played a ninety-year-old man, when he was in sixth grade.
He was Kerala’s state wrestling champion in 1977 and 1978.
Mohanlal made his acting debut in 1978 with the film Thiranottam, which he and his pals Maniyanpilla Raju, Suresh Kumar, Unni, Priyadarshan, Ravi Kumar, and a few others produced and directed. Kuttappan, a mentally challenged servant, was played by Mohanlal. The film was not released on schedule due to censorship difficulties. It took 25 years for the film to be released.
In 1980, Mohanlal was cast as the main antagonist in Fazil’s directorial debut, Manjil Virinja Pookkal. The movie became a huge hit. Mohanlal’s pals had submitted his application in response to a Navodaya Studio advertisement. In front of a panel of professional directors, he auditioned for the part. Two of them awarded him low grades because of his appearance, but Fazil and Jijo Appachan scored him 90 and 95 out of 100. In a 2004 interview with Reader’s Digest, Mohanlal admitted that his appearance as a young man might have matched that of the villain.
By 1983, Mohanlal had appeared in over 25 feature films, the most of which featured him in negative (villain) roles. Ente Mohangal Poovaninju, Iniyengilum, Visa, Attakkalasham, Kaliyil Alpam Karyam, Ente Mamattukkuttiyammakku, Engane Nee Marakkum, Unaru, and Sreekrishna Parunthu were among the films that transformed his image. He became a successful hero with a “good heart” thanks to Sasikumar’s Ivide Thudangunnu.
In the 1984 comedy Poochakkoru Mookkuthi, directed by Priyadarshan, Mohanlal played a young man in love with a girl whom he mistakenly believes to be wealthy in an ensemble cast. It also marked the beginning of the Mohanlal-Priyadarshan collaboration, which has resulted in 44 films as of 2016.
He recorded a song for the movie Onnanam Kunnil Oradi Kunnil in 1985. During this time, he made films like Uyarangalil, Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu, Boeing Boeing, and Aram + Aram = Kinnaram.
