Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Ginuwine?
Ginuwine is an American singer, dancer, and actor who was born Elgin Baylor Lumpkin in the District of Columbia in 1968. Lumpkin began his professional career as a member of the Swing Mob in the early 1990s.
The late 1990s and early 2000s saw Lumpkin establish himself as one of R&B’s most popular performers, signing with Epic Records as a solo artist in the mid-1990s. Since then, he has released a string of multi-platinum and platinum-selling albums and singles that have helped him establish himself as one of the genre’s most popular performers.
Ginuwine’s first four studio albums were commercial successes: Ginuwine… The Bachelor, 100 percent Ginuwine, The Life, and The Senior are just a few of the titles available. According to Billboard, Elgin Baylor Lumpkin’s albums have sold around 10 million copies in the United States.
Ginuwine met Sole for the first time in June 1999, and the two began dating in October of that same year. Ginuwine was married to Tonya M Johnston, better known by her stage name Sole, an American rapper who was most known for her work in the music industry. Throughout his life, Ginuwine struggled with grief and depression to the point where he considered killing himself. On January 5, 2018, Ginuwine made her television debut on Celebrity Big Brother 21 in the United Kingdom.
Ginuwine co-starred in the CBS drama Martial Law with Sammo Hung and Arsenio Hall, among other actors. Ginuwine is the brand ambassador for Adult Chocolate Milk, a vodka-based chocolate milk with a 40% alcohol content. Ginuwine first debuted on the screen in the 2004 film You Got Served. Because of label and legal problems, Ginuwine said on his MySpace blog on August 21, 2008, that they would not be able to release an official TGT album due to the band’s contractual obligations.
Ginuwine, Tank, and Tyrese formed the hip hop group TGT in 2007. On Ginuwine’s debut solo single “Pressure,” a Canadian hip-hop artist named Belly collaborated with him in 2007. The song was included on Belly’s debut album The Revolution, which was released in June 2007. Ginuwine took to his MySpace and YouTube pages to express his displeasure with the unauthorised distribution. In an appearance on BET’s Top 100 countdown, Ginuwine declared that the album had sold 500,000 copies and had been certified gold.
Ginuwine was a featured artist on P Diddy’s No. 1 single “I Need a Girl” in 2002, which reached the top of the charts. Ginuwine performed a cover of Prince’s song “When Doves Cry,” which was featured on the Purple Rain soundtrack. Ginuwine was a member of the Swing Mob, a hip-hop group that was active in the early 1990s. During the peak of hip-hop soul in the 1990s, Ginuwine was one of R&B’s most prominent love men. Ginuwine’s sensual, seductive crooning won him a significant female following in the late ’90s and established him as a regular fixture on the R&B charts, even after the more organic, retro-leaning neo-soul trend began to take hold.
Lumpkin’s interest in music was piqued as a child by artists such as Prince and Michael Jackson, particularly the latter’s renowned moonwalk performance on the Motown 25th anniversary special. He began playing at parties and clubs with the Finesse Five, a local hip-hop group, when he was just 12 years old. His next job was as a Michael Jackson impersonator for a local band called Physical Wonder; in the meantime, he acquired a paralegal degree from a nearby community college in case music didn’t work out for him after all. In 1996, he went by the stage name Ginuwine and was discovered by Jodeci, who signed him to a record deal. After arriving in New York, Ginuwine collaborated with up-and-coming producer Timbaland on the tune “Pony.” The music’s sluggish, halting groove and fervent vocals helped Ginuwine gain a deal with Sony’s 550 Music brand.
After recording his debut album, Ginuwine…The Bachelor, with Timbaland, who was known for his remarkably imaginative production work, Ginuwine released it later that year. In addition to becoming a number one R&B hit, “Pony” also reached number six on the pop charts, and the album went on to become a double-platinum success. It spawned numerous more R&B successes over the course of the following year, including “Tell Me Do U Wanna,” “I’ll Do Anything/I’m Sorry,” “Holler,” and “Only When Ur Lonely.” It also included a cover of Prince’s “When Doves Cry,” which paid homage to one of Ginuwine’s primary influences.
Because of the album’s success, demand for Timbaland’s production talents skyrocketed, and Ginuwine was elevated to the status of legitimate sex symbol. He went on a lengthy promotional tour in favour of The Bachelor, and his hit single “Same Ol’ G,” which was included on the soundtrack of Eddie Murphy’s Dr. Doolittle, helped him keep his name in the public spotlight in 1998. Late in the year, he also made his acting debut in an episode of the CBS series Martial Law, which aired on the network.
In early 1999, Ginuwine released his second studio album, 100 percent Ginuwine, which was a critical and commercial success. Again produced by Timbaland, it debuted at number five on the pop charts and went on to become another huge crossover hit with “So Anxious.” It was certified platinum. It was also successful on R&B radio with the singles “What’s So Different?”
After that, he released The Life in the spring of 2001, despite having to deal with the deaths of both his father (who committed suicide) and mother (who died of cancer) in the same year. It was his first studio album to be produced by someone other than Timbaland. Nonetheless, it was another commercial triumph, arriving at number three on the charts and hitting platinum once more. The ballad “Differences,” the second single released from the album following “There It Is,” went on to become Ginuwine’s biggest pop hit to date, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart later that year.
Ginuwine made his feature film debut in the gender-bending basketball comedy Juwant to Mann in 2002, in which he played (what else?) a suave R&B singer, among other roles. Ginuwine returned to the top ten that summer with his duet with P. Diddy on “I Need a Girl, Pt. 2,” which peaked at number nine. A Minnesota man who had been impersonating the artist for several years and bilking money from business acquaintances was apprehended around the same time, in a weird incident that police described as “out of this world.”
In spite of the fact that he did not attain the same level of success on the singles charts, his albums The Senior (2003) and Back II da Basics (2005) both peaked in the Top Five of the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Despite the fact that I Apologize was an unlicensed bootleg, it managed to have a little influence in 2007. After that, the artist moved away from the Sony label and into a distribution agreement with Warner Bros. A Man’s Thoughts was published in 2009 and debuted at the top of the R&B albums list. The album featured a reunion with Timbaland on the track “Get Involved,” which was released in 2009. “Batteries,” a dance track on which he was joined by Trina, was released in January 2011 and served as the lead single from his seventh studio album, Elgin. After that, he collaborated with Tank and Tyrese on the album Three Kings, which was released in 2013 under the name TGT.
