Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT the Golden State Warriors?

American professional basketball club Golden State Warriors, based in San Francisco and playing in the Western Conference of the NBA (NBA). Golden State Warriors have won five NBA championships and one Basketball Association of America (BAA) championship since 1956 and 1975, respectively (1947).

The Warriors were initially based in Philadelphia when they were established in 1946. For the first BAA championship, Joe Fulks, the league’s first-ever scoring leader, led the way for the team’s first-ever title. When the Basketball Association of America and the National Basketball League amalgamated in 1949, the Warriors joined the NBA (NBL).

During the Warriors’ first six seasons in a new league, only once did they finish higher than fourth place in their division. The Warriors, led by player Paul Arizin and centre Neil Johnston, won their first NBA championship in 1955–56, posting the best record in the league.

Wilt Chamberlain, a native of Philadelphia, became one of the greatest NBA players of all time when he joined the Philadelphia 76ers in 1959. During his time with the Warriors, he set an NBA record by scoring 100 points in a game in 1962, which would be the team’s last season in Philadelphia. After the 1961–62 season, a group of San Francisco Bay area investors purchased the franchise and transferred the team, which became known as the San Francisco Warriors, to the city.

NBA Finals appearances in 1964 and 1967 saw the Warriors fall to the Los Angeles Lakers with a team led by Chamberlain and a fully rebuilt club that included Rick Barry, centre Nate Thurmond, and guard Jeff Mullins. When the Oakland Oaks signed Barry, the league’s leading scorer in 1966–67, he became the first big name to sign with the fledgling American Basketball Association.

During the late 1980s, Don Nelson’s up-tempo style of play, which relied on smaller players and a focus on scoring over defence, became a trademark of the Warriors. The “Run T.M.C.” teams of 1989–90 and 1990–91 are best exemplified by the high-scoring three of point guard Tim Hardaway, shooting guard Mitch Richmond, and small centre Chris Mullin, whose initial names were a homage to the rap group Run D.M.C. Nelson’s teams were enjoyable to watch while they were in the league, but they never made it past the second round of the playoffs, and he eventually left the Warriors after the 1994–95 campaign.

Following this period, Golden State went on a run that saw them finish in last or second place in every season from 1994–95 through 2005–06. Nelson rejoined the Warriors in 2006–07, and the franchise made its first playoff appearance in 13 years that season. By defeating Dallas Mavericks in seven games, the Warriors made NBA history by being the first eighth-seed (lowest-seed) team to beat the top-seeded team in a seven-game postseason series. Nelson was forced to quit in 2010 after the Warriors missed the playoffs three times in a row following their historic season the year before.

The Warriors returned to the playoffs in 2012–13 thanks to standout guard Stephen Curry, who was just 20 years old at the time. Warriors brought in new head coach Steve Kerr before the 2014–15 season and rapidly became a juggernaut, piling up the fourth-most wins in NBA history at the time and making their first appearance in the NBA final in 40 years. Golden State beat LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in a six-game NBA Finals series to win their first championship.

Next season, the Warriors broke their own record of 72 victories set in 1995–96 by the Chicago Bulls, winning 73 games and losing only nine in the regular season, setting an NBA record. Reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors had to overcome a 3-1 series deficit to Oklahoma City Thunder to reach the NBA finals after dropping at least one game in each Western Conference playoff series. After a 3-1 series turnaround, the Cleveland Cavaliers raced to three straight wins to win the rematch between the Warriors and Cavaliers.

The Warriors signed free agent forward Kevin Durant to their record-setting team in the next off-season. When it came to the playoffs, Golden State once again made history by setting an NBA record for most consecutive wins to open a playoff series (12) and the route to a third straight Western Conference championship, six wins short of the team’s previous season total in 2016–17.

After a three-game NBA finals series versus the Cavaliers, which was the first time that two teams faced each other in the finals three times in a row in league history, the Warriors won their second championship with a loss to Cleveland.
