Holly Hunter was born on March 20, 1958, to a farmer and representative of the sport goods brand in Conyers, Georgia, Opal Marguerite Catledge and Charles Edwin Hunter. She’s got six siblings elderly.
She graduated with a degree in drama from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. She worked on her college’s theatre scene and also played at the City Theatre.
