Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT JAKE BURGER.
Jacob Michael Burger is an American professional baseball third baseman who plays for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). Burger was born on April 10, 1996, in the United States. He made his MLB debut in 2021. Burger received his high school education at the Christian Brothers College in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from high school, he did not get selected and instead attended Missouri State University, where he was a member of the Missouri State Bears baseball team.
He started all 57 games as a freshman and hit.342/.390/.518 with four home runs and 42 runs batted in (RBIs). His performance earned him the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year title. Burger played in 56 games as a sophomore in 2016 and had a batting line of.349/.420/.689 with 21 home runs and 72 RBIs.After the season, he participated in a college national team competition for the United States.
In his junior season, 2017, he had a batting average of.328, with 22 home runs and 65 RBIs, earning him the title of Player of the Year for the Missouri Valley Conference. Burger was regarded as one of the best possible draft picks for the 2017 season of Major League Baseball. After being selected with the 11th overall pick in the first round of the draft by the Chicago White Sox, he subsequently signed with the organization and was sent to the Arizona League White Sox.
After playing for them for four games, he was promoted to the Kannapolis Intimidators. After playing for both teams in 51 games in 2017, he ended with a batting average of 263, five home runs, and 29 RBIs.The White Sox has invited Burger to participate in spring training in 2018. On February 26, he ruptured the Achilles tendon in his left leg. On February 27, he was declared out for the remainder of the 2018 season. In 2019, he had a heel contusion, which caused him to miss some time throughout the season.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, no minor league season it existed in 2020. Therefore, Burger played in the CarShield college league, a summer league in O’Fallon, Missouri. This occurred because there was no minor league season. It had been since 2017 that he had last played in a competitive baseball game. After the conclusion of the summer league, Burger received an invitation to join the White Sox at their alternative training facility.
The 40-man roster was expanded to include Burger on the 20th of November, 2020. At the beginning of the 2021 season, he will play for the Triple-A Charlotte Knights. Burger started getting repetitions at second base in Charlotte when Nick Madrigal was sidelined with an injury that would terminate his season. Burger received word in June 2021 that he had been chosen to participate in the All-Star Futures Game.
Burger got called up to play in the main leagues for the first time on July 2 after posting a.322 batting average in Charlotte. That day, he debuted as the starting third baseman against the Detroit Tigers in Major League Baseball. In addition, he had his first professional career hit during the game, which was a double off of the Tigers’ reliever Erasmo Ramrez. On July 17, Burger hit his first home run of his professional career. It was a two-run homer off of the pitcher for the Houston Astros, Austin Pruitt.
In 2022, the White Sox decided to add Burger to their Opening Day roster, and he filled in at third base for Yoán Moncada, who was sidelined with an injury. Before being sent to Triple-A on May 9 due to Moncada’s activation, Burger appeared in 21 games with a batting average.239 while hitting two home runs and collecting seven runs batted in. Charlotte was the team that Burger started the 2023 season with.
On April 5, the White Sox brought him to the big leagues when Eloy Jiménez was hurt and placed on the disabled list. Burger started receiving repetitions at second base when Moncada was given consistent playing time at third base, and Jiménez was deployed as the primary designated hitter. The game between the Chicago White Sox and the Detroit Tigers was decided by a walk-off grand slam that Burger hit on June 4, 2023.
On Wednesday night, Jake Burger hit two home runs and drove in three, while Clint Frazier supplied the tiebreaking single to assist the Chicago White Sox in defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers, playing at home. The final score was 8-4 in favor of the White Sox. The White Sox’s three-game losing streak ended with Luis Robert Jr. hitting a home run for the team. Yasmani Grandal contributed three of the thirteen hits that Chicago had.
Before the White Sox scored six runs throughout the last two innings, Kershaw was well on his way to winning the game. In the top of the eighth inning, Eloy Jimenez started things off with a double against Yency Almonte, and then Burger hit a two-run home bomb off the foul pole in left field to tie the game at 4. A pitch hit Andrew Benintendi after Alex Vesia (0-3) entered the contest. Benintendi advanced to second on a wild pitch.
Benintendi, who scored the winning run, came home thanks to a single to center field that Frazier hit with one out. In the ninth inning, Chicago scored three runs thanks to a single by Jimenez that drove in a run and a single by Benintendi that drove in two. In the sixth inning, Los Angeles scored four runs. When playing against Gregory Santos, David Peralta, Chris Taylor, and Jason Heyward, all started with a single. On Heyward’s single to the right field, Peralta maintained his position at third base; however, the throw from Frazier ricocheted off of Grandal, and Santos failed to back up the play, which allowed Peralta to score.
Burger has been on a roll as of late, thanks to the fact that he has been allowed to play on the field regularly. Burger has been asked to play third base, which is not his natural position since Yoan Moncada is now on the 10-day injured list with lower back irritation. This injury date is retroactive to June 14. Burger has started and finished every game since June 4 at either designated hitter or third base. He has made the most of the changes offered to him, strengthening the case that he should be a regular starter.
During those ten games, he hit five home runs and drove in 11, placing him in second place on the club in both home runs (16; Luis Robert Jr. has 17) and RBIs (36; Andrew Vaughn has 41). He has achieved such marks in just 52 games, making them outstanding. This is 16 fewer games played than Robert Jr. and 17 fewer games played than Vaughn. In addition, he has accomplished this feat in 169 plate appearances, which is about 90 less than both have had (Robert Jr. has 258 and Vaughn has 254, respectively).
Burger’s manager, Pedro Grifol, says that the club has so much quality at various positions that it is tough to find a spot for Burger to play daily. This presents a challenge for the squad. On Sunday, Jake Burger won the game for his team with a walk-off grand slam single against Alex Lange of the Tigers, regarded as one of the hardest right-handed relievers in the big leagues. As of the previous day, Tuesday, he had a batting line of.265/.317/.606 and an OPS of.923. He finished second on the club in home runs with 12.

Yoan Moncada will stay in third base even though he is not producing, even though Burger is a third baseman by trade. This indicates that Burger would perform best in the designated hitter role. Gavin Sheets, who bats left-handed, got the nod in right field on Tuesday, with Eloy Jimenez serving as the DH against Yankees right-hander Clarke Schmidt. When Jimenez plays right field, the DH slot is a competition between Burger and the left-handed-hitting Gavin Sheets.
Early on in this one, Burger completed the first of his many circuits. He launched a home run to right center field on a pitch from Clayton Kershaw, which gave the White Sox a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning. Burger hit his 14th home run of the season and his second long career ball off the player who will one day be inducted into the Hall of Fame. However, he still needed to finish there. After the Dodgers scored some runs in the bottom of the sixth stanza, Burger’s bat got the White Sox back in the game by blasting his second home run of the night in the top of the eighth inning. This allowed the White Sox to return to the game and ultimately win.
