Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT JERIQ.
Jeremiah Chukwuebuka Ani is a musician and a rapper from Nigeria. He was born on May 6, 1999, and is better known by his stage name, Jeriq. He works as an independent artist (an “Indie artiste”). Jeriq spent his childhood in the city of Nkpor, in Anambra. He received his first degree from Enugu State University of Science and Technology after attending the College of the Immaculate Conception, a secondary school in Enugu State, and Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
Jeriq began his career as a musician and record producer at 15. One of the tracks he recorded then was the “Iyoo” single, which was his first release. The following year, in 2020, he released “No More Nleka,” which was supported by Zoro. After that, he issued a six-track extended play (E.P.) titled “Hood Boy Dreams,” which led to his signing by K.O.D. Music Group with another Igbo rapper named Phyno. After that, Jeriq released a remix of the song “Remember,” which was included in the E.P.In 2021, he contributed to an E.P. titled “Ea$t N We$t,” produced in collaboration with Dremo.
In December 2021, he contributed to DJ Neptune’s song “Cash” with Ghana-based Kofi Jamar. The music was performed live at ESUT, U.N.N., and UNIPORT events. Billion Dollar Dream” was his first studio album, and he published it in May of 2022. Dr. Jayswaarg, Insane Chips, Soo Flashy, Bada$$, Xtraordinaire, and Enaps were a part of the album’s production crew. Flavor, Psycho Y.P., Alpha P, Kofi Jamar, DJ Neptune, and Dremo contributed to the album in various ways.
In May 2022, almost a year and a half after Phyno’s verse and the subsequent rise in prestige it brought, he released an album titled Billion Dollar Dreams. This album condensed his ambition to achieve into 12 songs based on hip-hop and trap music, most of which Dr. Jayswaarg provided. It was met with a reasonably positive reaction upon its release, with the majority of this, as was to be anticipated, coming from South Eastern Nigeria.
Since then, several releases have put his first album on ton back burner, which is to be anticipated in Nigeria’s competitive music business. One of these new releases is an excellent effort by a particular artist named Seyi Vibez, with a similar moniker. Therefore, Jeriq discovers that he needs a piece that will bring him back to the forefront of the conversation and serve as a constant reminder of his brilliance. He follows the standard practice of releasing a deluxe edition of the album, expanding its track listing by an additional six tracks that are thematically related to the album’s primary subject while broadening its overall sound.
His connection with God, religion, and Christianity would be puzzling to anybody unaware of the core beliefs underpinning the practices of many devout followers of many faiths in nations with limited access to resources. In the past, he served as a mass server and was a member of the Legion of Mary, both influential organizations within the Catholic Church. In this passage, he alludes to the fact that he formerly had a far more robust commitment to the Christian faith than he has now. He has gone a long way since then. On Billion Dollar aspirations, Jeriq is willing to appeal for aid from the almighty for a push towards his ambitions while forgetting prohibitions that are allegedly his duty in the God-man exchange. This shows how far he has come since then. Jeriq depends on the album’s producers to create a dynamic soundscape because most of the record is concentrated on a single topic.
They provide his signature trap sound a little bit of a twist in each track, making it so that “Trapping” with Psycho Y.P., “Cartel Business” with Kofi Jamar, “Back Door” with Alpha P and “My Bro” with Phyno each have a more significant degree of differentiation from the other tracks than can be credited to the diversity of features used. This is further expanded with the deluxe edition, as he works in a piano production through “Payment Slip” and the lighter “Akpofegom”; they are two tracks with the producer’s tags, Nameless.
The latter holds an even more significant distinction as the only track with a passionate focus; Jeriq suspends his “Money first” mantra for three minutes to make a song that taps into a sound fully absorbed into Nigerian music. It will provide an accessible entry point to his music for listeners not particularly interested in rap music. These tracks demonstrate Jeriq’s intention to go closer to the mainstream of Nigerian music. Like many rappers who came before him, he recognizes that dabbling a little bit in more popular genres is a fair price for the increased acceptance of his music.
Jeriq sets out plans on his album Billion Dollar Dreams and its deluxe edition to expand his reputation outside the South East and get him closer to his ambition. The story told in Jeriq’s first project, launched on January 26, 2022, chronicles his journey from a less-than-privileged upbringing to realizing his dreams of becoming a successful artist. This also reflects his journey, the challenges he has overcome, and the goals that continue to motivate him. The Deluxe edition of Jeriq’s album “Billion Dollar Dream” draws a lot of attention and can potentially influence the music landscape in Nigeria greatly.
This album is a refined and varied body of work demonstrating Jeriq’s artistic flexibility. He produced it. The record, which features a fusion of indigenous sounds, trap music, and hip-hop, is designed to appeal to diverse listeners. The excellent reception of Jeriq’s music has not been confined to the Nigerian market alone; instead, it has been received favorably throughout the African continent and in other regions of the globe.
It is widely believed that the rapper’s one-of-a-kind style of rapping in the Igbo language is responsible for introducing a new sound to the Nigerian music industry and drawing attention to the Igbo language and culture. Because he was the first kid in a family of five, he had a challenging upbringing, prompting him to develop a hustler mentality and grind on the streets. After growing up on the streets, he entered a recording studio in Ochanja Roundabout Onitsha when he was 15. He debuted in the music industry in 2015 with a song called “Iyoo,” which became popular in the neighborhoods of Enugu and Anambra.
The phenomenal talent teams up with Jeriq, a famous Nigerian rapper and performer, to release their newest track, which has a good chance of becoming a smash. This song is his first official release of June, which is this one. The well-known song producer from Nigeria, Grand, handled mixing and mastering duties for “Nyem Ego.”This new tune by Alexo Koko is going to have a significant impact on the way people listen to music.
