Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT Joey Tempest?

Joey Tempest is well recognized around the world as the lead singer and leader of the mega-popular hard rock band EUROPE. Tempest began his career in 1979 with John Norum and attained national recognition in Sweden in 1982 with the release of the eponymous first album “Europe”. Europe was able to tour the entirety of Scandinavia in 1984 as a result of the record Wings Of Tomorrow. Joey Tempest is the author of the 1980’s world-famous hymn The Final Countdown, which topped the charts in 30 countries. The success and renown he and Europe received as a result of this song and subsequent albums (1988 Out Of This World, 1991 Prisoners In Paradise, plus extensive worldwide touring) lasted until 1993 when Europe decided to separate.

Tempest chose to pursue a solo career as a songwriter and performer. His competent and more classic rock-oriented albums A Place to Call Home (1995) and Azalea Place (1997) were released in a restricted number of European countries and achieved modest success outside of Sweden and Norway. To evade admirers, his band, Europe, used to rehearse under the moniker “Le Baron Boys.” The song “Hero” was composed as a homage to Joey’s childhood idol, Thin Lizzy’s Phil Lynott.

Between the band’s disbandment in 1992 and its reunion in 2003, he established a successful solo career with three CDs: A Place To Call Home (1995), Azalea Place (1997), and Joey Tempest (2003). (2002). He has a sister who is older than him and a younger brother.

He wrote, “Roll With You” for a friend who is gravely ill and in a bad mood. Joey dedicates the song Forever Traveling to another of his heroes, Journey frontman Steve Perry. James Joakim, Lisa’s son, was born in London on 12 October 2007. Europe has achieved reunification.

In the second half of 2004, the band will release a new album, embark on a world tour, and produce a new DVD. [2004] Europe’s next album, Secret Society, is scheduled for release on October 27th. Europe will begin a tour of Scandinavia the night before.

Europe will record a new CD in Stockholm in May and will self-produce it! [Aug 2006] He’s been writing songs for the band’s upcoming Europe album, and the band just wrapped up their “Start From The Dark” tour in Brasov. [Aug. 2005]

Joey, a perfectionist at heart, has been working diligently with a Swedish producer team to complete his third CD (title not yet revealed), which will be mixed in August 2002. The CD is scheduled to arrive in October, followed by the release of the first single/video in August.  Europe-wide performances 26th of January in Nalen, Stockholm, Sweden [Aug 2008]

“Start From The Dark” is the title of Europe’s new CD. Joey is now extremely busy promoting the CD, conducting interviews, and putting together the “Start From The Dark” live show. Europe will kick out a world tour in Helsinki on October 14th. [Sept. 2004]

The band is continuing to work on the new CD; they are meeting as much as possible this month to record demos of their ideas and plan the future. As was the case with “Start From The Dark,” the band has demanded confidentiality. In Europe, the new DVD “Live From The Dark” will be published on November 18, 2005. Joey will appear as a guest on SvT1’s En granslos rapsodi show on Friday, October 28, from 22.30 to 23.00 to discuss the band, Queen.

Our Detroit event ended up being one of those intimate, sweaty rock shows with an edge. The venue was smaller; the crowd was more intimate. It’s not about the light show or the large sound system in these conditions; it’s about raw, intimate conversation, and you’re carried away to a world where nothing else seems to exist; all outside thoughts and problems simply vanish. That is how I envision music and concerts.

Tempest rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of heavy rock band Europe, with his distinctive voice becoming widely recognized following the 1986 hit of ‘The Final Countdown.’ In 1995, he released his self-titled debut, which had a collection of high-quality songs, most of which featured at least one melodic hook. Well-produced, well-sung, and well-played – but it was all for naught.

Tempest had veered more toward mainstream pop, which some of his fans considered too antiquated. ‘We Come Alive’ and ‘Pleasure And Pain’ were immediately enticing, but left little of an aftertaste. Subsequent solo albums continued in a similar vein, with 2002’s self-titled collection even veering toward 1980s electronic pop. Tempest toured the world with the reunified Europe in 2003.

Joakim Larsson learned to play the piano and guitar before he became the artist Joey Tempest. He competed in football, ice hockey, and go-cart racing, finishing fourth in a Swedish competition once. He grew raised in the Stockholm suburb of Upplands Väsby, like many of the other Europe members. His primary musical influences were Thin Lizzy and Led Zeppelin. He was a member of a variety of bands during his adolescence, including Jet, Blazer, Made in Hong Kong, and Roxanne. He rotated between rhythm guitar and bass at the time, in addition to lead vocals.

With guitarist John Norum, drummer Tony Reno, and bassist Peter Olsson, he established the band Force in 1979. Force quickly established a reputation and an audience in Stockholm’s outskirts. They changed their name to Europe in 1982 after winning the music competition Rock-SM. A record deal with Hot Records was the first reward. Between 1983 and 1991, Europe produced five albums with singer, leader, and composer Joey Tempest at the helm.

Tempest released her self-titled debut album, A Place to Call Home, in 1995. He refers to it as his “singer/songwriter album.” Dan Sundquist produced the album, which was recorded in Stockholm and London using Swedish musicians. On one of the tracks, Europe bandmate John Norum makes a guest appearance. Additionally, Tempest played guitar on the album. A Place to Call Home was certified platinum in Sweden and was a worldwide smash hit.

Azalea Place was released as the follow-up album in 1997. The follow-up solo album was produced in Nashville by Richard Dodd, who had previously worked with The Traveling Wilburys and Tom Petty. Whereas Tempest wrote the majority of the content for A Place To Call Home, the new album was co-written with others. Among them were Squeeze’s Chris Difford and Will Jennings. “Azalea Place was written primarily in the studio, making it more improvisational and experimental,” Tempest said of the production.

Joey Tempest, his third solo album, was released in the autumn of 2002. The album’s producing team was “DeadMono,” which consisted of Malcolm Pardon and Fredrik Rainman.  The first session took place at Konk Studios, the former London home of The Kinks, where Tempest jammed with English musicians who had previously worked with Massive Attack. This session resulted in the singles “Magnificent” and “Kill For A Girl Like You” (the B-side to the first single “Forgiven”), as well as “Sometimes.” Work with Swedish artists, including Mic Michaeli, continued in Stockholm. This session gave birth to the term “superhuman.” Tempest continued to collaborate with Adam Lamprell at a makeshift studio in London following that.

Tempest has stated of his songwriting, “Dreamless and Magnificent are heavily influenced by London. Both London and Dublin have an influence on Losers. Living there can be extremely intense, bordering on chaos. They’re challenging cities, and without living there, I would never have created the lyrics I did.” Several lines can also be interpreted as references to his hometown, musings on living abroad, and adapting to new cultures.
