Makhadzi is the stage name of South African singer Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, born on June 30, 1996. Makhadzi is recognized for her R&B and hip-hop music. Her career as a dancer started when she was only 12 years old before she pursued a music career as a singer. While still in school, she got a record contract with Rita Dee Entertainment and released Muhwalo Uya Ndemela in 2015. She was born and reared in Ha-Mashamba, in the Limpopo province.

After her song “Tshanda Vhuya” was released in 2017, she became more well-known in her home region. Matorokisi, the artist’s eighth studio album, was released in 2019 and debuted at number two in South Africa. Kokovha (2020), Makhadzi’s ninth studio album, turned out to be one of her most successful albums, and it had a strong start on the iTunes albums list in South Africa, entering at number one. The singles “Amadoda,” “Mphemphe,” “Kokovha,” and “Tshikwama” all topped the charts when they were released.

Her ninth studio album, African Queen (2021), was awarded the gold certification in South Africa. Makhadzi was born in a tiny community in the province of Limpopo called Ha-Mashamba Tshivhangani. This community is located close to Elim. Following the divorce of Ndivhudzannyi’s parents, she and her two younger siblings were required to live with their mother. She attended Mukula Integrated School up to the 12th grade. Ndivhudzannyi has completed her public relations training and is now pursuing training in acting.

Her professional career began when she was just 13 years old, and she began performing at taxi ranks, where she would earn money from the tips people gave her. In 2010, Makhadzi joined a musical ensemble called Makhirikhiri as a dancer. She transitioned into a career in music not long after she stopped dancing professionally. Muvhango was released in 2009, followed by Ndo Tshinya Ni? in 2011, and Litshani you Ntsala Murahu in 2012. All three albums were issued independently by Makhadzi. Her fourth studio album, Rita Dee, was released under the RCA Records label on December 1st, 2014.

Her first studio album, Muhwalo Uya Ndemela, was released in 2015 after she had gained the notice of Rita Dee Entertainment the previous year and been offered a record contract by the company. The year after that, in 2017, she released her album under the name Yo Shoma. At the Fame South African Music prizes, the album won two awards; the first was for Best Female Artist, and the second was for Tshivenda Best.

In 2017, Shumela Venda was made available to the public. “Dj Wa Vhorine” and “Tshanda Vhuya” served as supporting singles. After being published in 2019, Makhadzi’s breakout hit “Matorokisi” quickly became one of the most successful songs of her career. Matorokisi, the title track from her latest studio album, was released on November 1st, 2019. The album reached its highest position on the South African iTunes/Apple Music charts at number two, where it stood for three consecutive days.

In 2019, Makhadzi appeared as a guest artist on a track named “Tshikwama” by Master KG. The way was included on the album Jerusalem.
Makhadzi got a record contract with Open Mic Productions soon after she parted ways with Rita Dee Entertainment. On October 16, 2020, the studio album Kokovha by Makhadzi was available in South Africa. Mayten, Mampintsha, Prince Benza, Mr. Brown, Gigi Lamayne, Jah Prayzah, Team Mosha, Moonchild Sanelly, FB, Charma Girl, and Sho Madjozi are some of the artists who appear on this album.

Her album was recognized as having the highest streams on Apple Music as of August 2021. The album was awarded a gold plaque for its success. In 2018, Makhadzi debuted on television with a performance that Yo TV presented. Since then, she has discussed her music, life, and the challenges she has faced in interviews with several radio stations, including Munghana Lonene FM, Phalaphala FM, Nzhelele FM, Makhado FM, Sloot FM, and Capricorn FM, among others. These interviews may be found online.

Additionally, she was a guest on the morning show on ETV. At the DSTV Mzansi Viewers Choice Awards 2020, Makhadzi was one of the artists that took the stage. Her performance received much praise on social media and was considered one of the greatest of the night. Makhadzi expressed her delight in becoming a mother while assuring her audience that she had created an album they would like.

She posted a photo of herself on social media chopping tomatoes and noted that she was making a special treat for her twins, who were due any day now and should be healthy by Friday. She shared the happy news with her followers on Instagram, comparing the album’s release to the arrival of a child. She also said that she is expecting twins and that they would be given the names DEAR EX and Niazwifha full audio.

Makhadzi’s disagreements with her previous record company over the contract terms inspired the title of her next album. Following rumors that Makhadzi had parted ways with Open Mic, the singer confirmed on Wednesday, in an official statement, that she had parted ways with the label amicably to pursue other business interests.

Amid the nation processing the information, Open Mic issued a statement that directly contradicted Makhadzi’s claims. Since she supposedly signed an “auto-renewable” contract, the stable had no idea that Makhadzi was leaving, as reported by Sunday World. The spokesperson for Open Mic Productions, Nkateko Maluleke, stated that Makhadzi is still contracted with the record label until the firm decides on the contrary.

The stunning media celebrities can be seen dressed to the nines and accessorizing their ensembles with the Dolce & Gabbana Girls shoulder bag made of Nappa leather. The retailer’s website states that the bag’s price is a staggering R45 000. In addition to that, it is offered in three distinct hues. It is also said to be the ideal piece of clothing to wear while going out for formal nights.

According to Sunday World, Makhadzi, whose actual name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, has come a long way from the days when she was making headlines for her fashion disasters, such as when she was trending earlier this year with her custom-made gold jumpsuit. She went to her feed on April 18 and uploaded a picture of herself at the Value-Able Consulting Gala Dinner wearing a Dolce & Gabbana purse made of Nappa leather. The dinner was held to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the firm.

The event was hosted in the opulent Maslow Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. Over the weekend, Makhadzi shared on Twitter that she had signed a contract with Open Mic for just three years and that, despite the popularity of her four albums, she had yet to get any royalties for the sales of her music, even albums. After Mzansi made fun of the Beyonce-inspired bodysuit that award-winning singer Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, better known by her stage name ‘Makhadzi,’ wore to a performance earlier this year, she said that she is keeping her fingers crossed for the dress that she would wear to celebrate her birthday.

The Ghanama singer announced on social media that she would have her birthday party this Friday at Eyadini in Durban. She expects to be more prepared this time with a more admirable stage costume to avoid being roasted again. The celebrity has endured years of ridicule due to her terrible grammar, but she has never indicated that this bothers her. Even though Beyoncé is not explicitly mentioned in the caption.

The costume had drawn some of its inspiration from her. She kindly criticized the terrible replica of her attire worn at a show before people began trolling her on Twitter, acknowledging that she did not look excellent in Beyonce’s ferocious outfit. The Matorokisi singer, known for singing in skimpy clothing most of the time, was requested to appear by the event’s organizers.

Several of Mkhadzi’s contemporaries in the music business have shown their support for her amid her continuing dispute with the record company Open Mic Productions about contractual disputes. The majority of those involved in the creative world have her back, whether they are actors or other musicians, and this is the case even if the record company is waiting for her to apologize for the allegations she has made against the label.
