Max Brallier is a well-known author of books for children. He was born on September 8, 1983, and has authored over 30 novels. He is most notable for writing the series The Last Kids on Earth, which was a New York Times bestseller and is currently being adapted by Netflix into a television series. In the third grade, the year 1991 saw him relocating to Reading, Massachusetts, where he enrolled at the Joshua Eaton Elementary School.

After that, he went to Parker Middle School, which inspired the fictional middle school in The Last Kids on Earth. In 2001, he received his diploma from Reading Memorial High School, and in 2005, he received his bachelor’s degree in cinema from Ithaca College. He enjoyed reading David Macaulay and Where’s Waldo novels as a kid. Bart Simpson’s Guide to Life is his favorite book of all time.

In the past, Brallier was employed in marketing at St. Martin’s Press and worked as a game creator for the online platform Poptropica. He only knew he wanted to be a writer after he released his first book, which was a coffee table book titled Reasons to Smoke (2007) and was intended for adults. However, other sites quote him saying he wanted to create tales as early as 14.

Under the pen name Jack Chabert, he started writing children’s books in 2014, beginning with the book series Eerie Elementary and continuing with the graphic novel Poptropica: Mystery of the Map (2016). Both of these works were published. In addition, under his name, he has authored books for other franchises, including LEGO, Adventure Time, and Steven Universe.

In 2015, he released the first book in the Galactic Hot Dogs series and the Last Kids on Earth series. Both books were his first works in their respective series. In 2019, he collaborated with other writers and created the Fangoria film VFW.*If you will be attending the event and would like to pre-order your books OR if you would like to order a signed copy of Max’s books, please add the titles you would like below and mention in the order comments section at checkout that you would like these books to be signed or that you will be attending the event. The most recent installment in Max Brallier’s “The Last Kids on Earth” series is titled “The Last Kids on Earth and the Forbidden Fortress,” it takes place in Pittsburgh. After Quint and Dirk’s Hero Quest events, the Last Kids are ecstatic to see one other, but they are almost immediately thrust into a terrifying new quest.

In a citadel in another realm, the nefarious Thrull and an even more repulsive new antagonist are now carrying out a dastardly plot. Before Thrull comes any closer to constructing the mysterious Tower, which is a construction that might eventually signal disaster for this realm, Jack, Quint, June, and Dirk need to devise their plans to penetrate the stronghold. This must be done before Thrull gets any closer.

Max Brallier chronicles the experiences of Jack, June, Quint, and Dirk as they navigate the aftermath of a zombie and monster apocalypse. Everyone who is an adult has disappeared… somewhere? No other people have been seen but these four children. They are alone against the rest of the world. And it could be better than they had hoped it would be. However, they believe they have discovered a means to stop the apocalypse once and for all and retrieve everyone who has gone missing.

The story focuses on the main character, Jack Sullivan, as he navigates the postapocalyptic world while attempting to acclimate to life on his own. Along the road, he acquires new pals and foes and loses some of them. Over time, he learns that it could end the zombie and monster apocalypse and even bring back all the missing individuals. As soon as he is aware of this, his primary objective flips from surviving to being rescued.

Dirk’s history as a bully makes him the natural choice to fill the group’s challenging guy role. However, being a bully is not the only thing that defines him. In reality, he is very caring and uses his more empathetic side to win over hesitant supporters. Last but not least, June is the demolition specialist. I don’t know whether she has always been as tough as she seems or if part of her exaggerated love for destruction and grossness is a reaction to the fact that she was the only female living in a household with many challenging conditions.

The best-selling Last Kids on Earth book series, written by Max Brallier and drawn by Douglas Holgate and now being produced into a blockbuster animated program for Netflix, has been acquired by Farshore Publishing, which will publish five additional novels in the series.
At Penguin Random House in the United States, publishing director Lindsey Heaven purchased the rights to publish in the United Kingdom from Kim Ryan.

In the monster adventure series, the protagonist, Jack Sullivan, is an underdog trying to reach the top of the postapocalyptic action hero food chain. This agreement covers the publication of “The Last Kids on Earth: The Forbidden Fortress,” the eighth installment of Jack’s adventures, scheduled for worldwide release in September 2022.It will be released simultaneously in the United Kingdom as two spin-off novels, The Last Kids on Earth: June’s Wild Flight and The Last Kids on Earth: Quint and Dirk’s Hero Quest. These books follow Jack’s closest friends, June Del Toro, Quint Baker, and Dirk Savage, as they go on their own zombie-filled, monster-slaying adventures.

Additionally, Farshore acquired two brand-new, fully colored graphic book adventures in the Last Comics on Earth series. The first book is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2023, and it will capitalize on the growing demand for graphic novels while also serving as another entrance point for new fans into the Last Kids world. The Last Comics on Earth is the first of four graphic novels that will be published as part of a series of spin-offs based on The Last Kids on Earth.

The Last Comics on Earth, which Viking Books released for Young Readers, reintroduces readers to a variety of fan-favorite characters that they had previously seen in the course of the preceding books, video games, and Netflix animated series. The publisher says of the series, “THE LAST COMICS ON EARTH imagines what best friends Jack, June, Quint, and Dirk would do after realizing – to their horror! They’ve read every last issue of their favorite comic book series, ” Z-Man: Defender of Apocalypse,” the story is based on that premise. “THE LAST COMICS ON EARTH” was released in 2015.

Dana Leydig, the executive editor of Viking Books for Young Readers, was the one who negotiated the contract for the titles’ rights. According to Leydig, “What’s brilliant about The Last Comics on Earth isn’t only its vibrant visuals and pacey plot, but also that it can be enjoyed by readers of the original Last Kids series and newcomers alike,” “Existing fans will be able to find a plethora of Easter eggs, and younger middle-grade readers will find the entertaining full-color format to be especially appealing.”
