Paula Michelle Furr, the daughter of Myra Joanelle and Donald Paul Furr III, was born in Tupelo, Mississippi. Her parents were the proprietors of a toy and craft store. When White was five years old, Donald and Myra Furr’s marriage began to fall apart.
