Rishabh Rajendra Pant is a professional Indian cricketer who plays in the Indian Premier League for India, Delhi, and the Delhi Capitals as a middle-order wicket-keeper batsman. He was titled to India’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup squad in December 2015. During the tournament on 1 February 2016, Pant strikes an 18-ball fifty, the fastest at this level.

Rishabh Pant was born on 4 October 1997, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. His father’s name is Rajendra Pant and his mother’s name is Saroj Pant. Pant would travel to Delhi with his mother on weekends when he was 12. He and his mother stayed at a gurdwara in the Moti Bagh neighborhood because they couldn’t find a place to stay in the city. Sinha suggested that Pant transfer to Rajasthan to play U-13 and U-15 cricket, but he was turned down. Pant’s mentor advised him to overhaul his entire batting technique, which is based on hand-eye coordination, in order to become a better batsman. His watershed moment came while playing U-19 cricket for Delhi against Assam. Pant had top-scored with 35 but was severely chastised by the coach for giving away his hat-trick wicket. Domestic Career:

Rishabh Pant made his first-class debut in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy on 22 October 2015, and his List A debut in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 23 December 2015.

Pant became the third-youngest Indian to score a triple century in first-class cricket when he scored 308 runs in an innings against Maharashtra in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy.

He made his India debut in the third Twenty20 International against England at the M. Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy Stadium on February 1, 2017. Pant was the youngest player for India to make his debut in a T20I match, at the age of 19 years and 120 days, before Washington Sundar, who made his debut in 2017 at the age of 18 years and 80 days.

Rishabh Pant was named to India’s squad for a limited-overs tour of the West Indies in June 2017. He was titled in India’s T20I squad for the 2018 Nidahas Trophy in February 2018.
