Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali (born February 24, 1963) is a Hindi film director, producer, screenwriter, and music director. He has received numerous accolades, including five National Film Awards, eleven Filmfare Awards, and a BAFTA nomination. In 2015, the Indian government awarded him the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth highest civilian honour.

With Khamoshi: The Musical (1996), Bhansali made his directorial debut, winning the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Film. He rose to prominence in Hindi-language cinema with the commercially successful romantic drama Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), the epic romantic drama Devdas (2002) — for which he was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Film Not in the English Language — and the drama Black (2005), for which he received multiple Best Director Awards and Best Adapted Screenplay Awards. Following that, he directed a string of commercially unsuccessful films, including Saawariya (2007) and Guzaarish (2010), though Guzaarish garnered strong critical and public reviews.

This changed when his tragic romance rendition of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), debuted to good reviews and excellent box office collections, earning him multiple prizes and nominations. He won his third National Film Award for his home-produced biographical sports film Mary Kom (2014). Bajirao Mastani (2015) and Padmaavat (2018), both historical dramas, are among the top-grossing Indian films of all time. He earned the National Film Award for Best Direction as well as the Filmfare Awards for Best Director and Best Film for the former, and the National Film Award for Best Music Direction and the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for the latter.

Bhansali started his career as an assistant to Vidhu Vinod Chopra, working on films including Parinda, 1942: A Love Story, and Kareeb. When Bhansali declined to direct Kareeb, they had a falling out. He made his directorial debut in 1996 with Khamoshi: The Musical, a critically acclaimed but commercially unsuccessful storey about a daughter’s effort to connect with her deaf-mute parents. At Filmfare, the film won the Critics Award for Best Film. With the triangular love storey Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, starring Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan, and Ajay Devgan, he ascended to stardom in Indian film, establishing his distinct imprint for visual splendour and generating auras of celebration and festivity. At the 1999 International Film Festival of India, the film premiered in the Indian Panorama section. It was a huge financial and critical hit, winning a slew of prizes, including four National Film Awards and nine Filmfare Awards.

Bhansali’s next film, Saawariya, was met with harsh criticism and poor box office receipts when it was released in 2007. Bhansali produced the opera Padmavati in 2008, an adaptation of Albert Roussel’s 1923 ballet. The production debuted at the prestigious Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, followed by the Festival dei Due Mondi, where it got “a fifteen-minute standing ovation and seven curtain calls at the close of the first play.” Bhansali’s work has gotten a lot of praise from reviewers throughout the world. Guzaarish, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai, was Bhansali’s first film in which he also directed the music. Critics gave the film positive to mixed reviews, however it did not fare well at the box office.

Guzaarish garnered him a nomination for Best Director at Filmfare. He joined the Indian music talent competition X Factor India Season 1 as a judge in 2011. In the same year, he also produced My Friend Pinto, a musical comedy picture that received poor reviews and bombed at the box office. Rowdy Rathore, a remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu, starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha and directed by Prabhu Deva, was released in 2012. The film received mixed reviews from critics but was a huge commercial success, earning it the title of “blockbuster” in India. He made Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi the next year, which received mixed reviews but did not perform well at the box office.

Bhansali wrote and directed the period drama Padmaavat, which he co-produced with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Deepika Padukone plays Rani Padmini, and Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh play Rawal Ratan Singh and Alauddin Khalji, respectively. During the filming of the film in Jaipur in January 2017, members of the Shri Rajput Karni Sena staged a protest at the Jaigarh Fort sets, physically assaulted Bhansali and his crew, and attempted to vandalise the sets, alleging that he misrepresented historical facts and depicted them incorrectly in the film. On March 6, 2017, members of the Shri Rajput Karni Sena vandalised the Chittor Fort once more, breaking the mirrors in Rani Padmini’s palace. On March 15, 2017, a group of unidentified vandals assaulted and set fire to the sets of this film in Kolhapur, resulting in the destruction of the production set, costumes, and jewellery. In the first four days following its release, the picture grossed $30 million.
