Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT SRI SRI RAVI SHANKAR?

Ravi Shankar is an Indian spiritual leader. “Sri Sri” (honorific), Guru ji, or Gurudev are all words used to refer to him. He was born to Visalakshi Ratnam and R.S.Venkat Ratnam on May 13, 1956, in Papanasam, Tamil Nadu. He is Bhanumathi Narasimhan’s brother. Since he was born on a Sunday, he was given the names “Ravi” and “Shankar,” after Adi Shankara, an eighth-century Hindu saint whose birthday fell on the same day as Ravi Shankar’s. Sudhakar Chaturvedi, an Indian Vedic Scholar and close associate of Mahatma Gandhi, was Ravi Shankar’s first tutor.

He graduated from Bangalore University’s St. Joseph’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree. Shankar travelled with his second guru, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, after graduation, giving talks and organising Vedic science conferences, as well as establishing Transcendental Meditation and Ayurveda centres.

Shankar started a series of realistic and experiential spirituality courses around the world in the 1980s. Sudarshan Kriya, a rhythmic breathing exercise, came to him in 1982 after a ten-day period of silence on the banks of the Bhadra River in Shimoga, Karnataka, “like a poem, an inspiration,” he says, adding, “I learnt it and started teaching it.”

Shankar taught the first Art of Living course in Switzerland in 1983. He travelled to Apple Valley, California in the United States in 1986 to teach the first course in North America.

Spirituality, according to Shankar, is described as the enhancement of human values such as love, kindness, and enthusiasm. It isn’t confined to some single faith or society. As a result, it is free to all. He believes that the spiritual connection we share as members of the human family is more important than our differences in race, ethnicity, sexuality, occupation, or other identities.

Science and spirituality, he claims, are connected and compatible, both stemming from a need to understand. “Who am I?” is a philosophical question; “What is this?” is a scientific question. His declared mission is to create a future free of tension and violence, emphasising that joy is only possible in the present moment.

His services are said to have useful resources to assist in this endeavour. Breath, he believes, is the bond between body and mind, as well as a medium for relaxing the mind, emphasising the importance of both meditation and spiritual activity, as well as service to others. “Reality is circular rather than linear,” he believes, “so it needs to be inconsistent.”
