Ant Timpson is most well-known for his work as a producer of horror movies, most notably the films in The ABCs of Death series. However, success comes to those who take risks. In that case, Timpson is well on his way to being acknowledged as a new type of visionary with his first directorial film, the chaotically structured Come to Daddy, which just had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. In the movie, Norval, who is in his thirties and played by Elijah Wood, travels to a remote seaside property, which one of the other characters compares to a UFO from the 1960s, to reconnect with his father.

It doesn’t take long for him to figure out that his father is not only a jerk but also has a questionable background that swiftly haunts him and his son.
