Mina Sharon Myoi (born March 24, 1997), better known by her stage name Mina, is a South Korean-born Japanese singer and dancer. She is a member of JYP Entertainment’s Twice, a girl group. Twice has three Japanese members, one of whom is Mina.
Mina was born in San Antonio, Texas, on March 24, 1997, and raised in Kobe, Hygo Prefecture, Japan.She was a toddler when she moved to Japan.

She went on to join the newly formed girl group Twice as one of nine active members.
In October 2015, Mina officially debuted as a member of Twice with their first extended play, The Story Begins. The lead single “Like Ooh-Ahh” was the first K-pop debut album to reach 100 million views on YouTube.Mina is well-known as one of Twice’s top dancers, and she has gained acclaim both in Korea and abroad.
The Chosun Ilbo has credited her popularity, along with that of fellow Japanese members Momo and Sana, with strengthening ties between Japan and South Korea. She was named the 20th most successful idol in South Korea in Gallup Korea’s annual music poll in 2019.
Mina will sit out the rest of Twice’s current World Tour Twicelights, JYP Entertainment revealed on July 11, 2019, due to sudden intense anxiety and insecurity issues surrounding performing on stage. Anxiety disorder was later diagnosed as a result of her behaviour. Mina’s health had improved and she had returned to performing live with Twice in February 2020, according to reports.
