Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT ARNAB GOSWAMI?
Arnab Goswami was born on March 7, 1973, in Guwahati, Assam, to Manoranjan Goswami and Suprabha Gain-Goswami, both Assamese. Manoranjan Goswami, his father, entered the Indian Army in the early 1960s and served for nearly 30 years, retiring as a colonel. Following his resignation, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and stood for the Guwahati constituency in the 1998 Lok Sabha elections. He has written several columns and novels, and in 2017 he was awarded the Asam Sahitya Sabha Award. Suprabha Gain-Goswami, Arnab’s mother, is a poet.
Rajani Kanta Goswami, his paternal grandfather, was a judge. Gaurisankar Bhattacharyya, his maternal grandfather, was an elected lawmaker from the Communist Party of India who led the opposition in Assam for many years.
Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Goswami’s maternal uncle, represents the BJP in the Assam Legislative Assembly from the Gauhati East constituency. Until 2015, he was the leader of the BJP’s Assam unit. Samyabrata Ray Goswami is Goswami’s husband. She is both a co-owner of Republic TV and a journalist. Che Goswami, the couple’s son, is named after the revolutionary Che Guevara.
Goswami, the son of an army general, attended schools all over India. He completed his 10th and 12th Standard board exams at St Mary’s School in Delhi Cantonment and Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jabalpur Cantonment, respectively. Goswami holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Delhi University’s Hindu College. Goswami received his Master’s in Social Anthropology from Oxford University’s St. Antony’s College, where he was a Felix Scholar, in 1994.
Arnab was a Visiting DC Pavate Fellow at Cambridge University’s Sidney Sussex College’s International Studies Department in the year 2000. Arnab Goswami began his career as a journalist with The Telegraph in Kolkata. He relocated to Delhi and began working for NDTV.
From 1996 to 2006, Goswami worked at NDTV. He hosted regular newscasts at NDTV, including News Tonight, which aired on DD Metro. In the 2004 Asian Television Awards, Goswami received an award for Best News Anchor of Asia 2004 for his hosting of Newsnight.
Goswami left NDTV in 2006 to become the editor-in-chief of the newly launched Times Now news channel.
His program The Newshour, which aired at 9 p.m. with live news reports and featuring prominent guests including Parvez Musharraf, aired at 9 p.m. He also hosted a special program called Frankly Speaking with Arnab, which included guests such as Benazir Bhutto and former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, retired Tibetan Government in Exile head of state the Dalai Lama, and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office in 2014, Goswami was the first television anchor to interview him.
On November 1, 2016, Goswami resigned as editor-in-chief of Times Now, citing editorial disagreements, a loss of media freedom, and newsroom politics as reasons for his departure. A fortnight later, he presented the final episode of his flagship program, The Newshour Discussion. During the months of August and September, the Newshour was the target of an unprecedented inquiry by Ofcom, the UK government-approved regulatory body for broadcasting, which found Times Now guilty of breaching the impartiality provision of its broadcast code.
In May 2019, Goswami acquired nearly complete control of Asianet News Media & Entertainment, which was championed by Rajeev Chandrasekhar. After, Republic Media Network published a statement saying that Goswami controls over 82 percent of Republic TV and that the company owns 99 percent of the downstream digital agency that operates the network’s digital properties.
In 2008, Goswami received the Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Television Journalism. On December 8, 2019, he was unanimously elected President of the News Broadcasting Federation, a newly created federation of approximately 78 channels that planned to replace the NBSA.
Arnab left the Editors Guild. Shekhar Gupta, according to Arnab, is driving the compromise on media by not speaking out about events like this. On the basis of a complaint lodged by Maharashtra Power Minister Nitin Raut, Nagpur police have filed a first information report against Arnab Goswami. Under applicable parts of the Indian Penal Code, the police have filed charges of giving provocation with the intent to cause riot, spreading enmity between two classes on the basis of faith or caste, intentional and malicious actions designed to offend religious sentiments of any community by insulting its religion or religious beliefs, and defamation.
