Born on the 17th of June in 1942, Bhagat Singh Koshyari is a politician from India who was the 22nd governor of the state of Maharashtra during the years 2019 to 2023. Koshyari, a veteran of the RSS, was a member of the BJP and served as the party’s National Vice-President as well as the first State president for Uttarakhand. In addition to that, he was the 2nd Chief Minister of Uttarakhand (which was originally known as Uttaranchal) from the years 2001 to 2002.
