He is most known for his television work, which includes hosting the CBBC children’s nature series The Really Wild Show from 1986 to 1995. He was born in 1961 in London, England, and is an English naturalist, wildlife photographer, television presenter, and author. Since 2009, he has also served as the host of the BBC nature programme Springwatch, which also includes Autumnwatch and Winterwatch.

Packham was born in the English city of Southampton.
