Shiv Ram Guruji, a Hindustani musician from Bodhan, used to visit the house and teach basic Hindustani music and simple Bhajans. Patriji also picked up some Tabla skills. All of the children migrated to Secunderabad for higher education in 1960. Patriji’s brother determined in 1963, following Patriji’s high school 12th examinations, that Patriji should travel to ” Shri T.S. Chandrasekharan ” and learn CLASSICAL CARNATIC FLUTE.

Every month, Patriji would spend around 7 to 8 days in Kurnool. And he would spend a lot of time with ” Swamiji ” over those few days. Patriji would bring him smokes, snacks, tea, and lunch. When Patriji was in Camp, Swarnamala Patri would arrange for lunch to be sent.

This was Patriji’s daily schedule in Kurnool from January 1st, 1981, until May 22nd, 1983. Patriji used to spend a lot of time listening to him talk about his life experiences. “ Swamiji ” remained in his old Lodge for the rest of his life.
