Cardinal Louis Antonio Gokim Tagle was born on June 21, 1957, in Manila, Philippines. He is the Pro-Prefect of the Section for the First Evangelization and New Specific Churches of the Dicastery for Evangelization, the Gran Chancellor of the Pontifical University Urbaniana, and the Metropolitan Archbishop emeritus of Manila.
