Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT New York Rangers?

New York Rangers are a New York City-based American professional ice hockey team. The New York Rangers are a member of the Eastern Conference’s Atlantic Division and one of the league’s most venerable organizations. As previously mentioned, they have won four Stanley Cups (the NHL championship trophy) (1928, 1933, 1940, and 1994).

The team was dubbed “Tex’s Rangers” by the New York newspapers, a play on the phrase “Texas Rangers,” when it was founded in New York in 1926 by Tex Rickard as an expansion franchise. Since their inception, the Rangers have played their home games in Madison Square Garden (a new stadium with the same name constructed in 1968). Before the league expanded in 1967, the Rangers were a member of the “Original Six,” which also included the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, and Chicago Blackhawks.

The first Rangers teams were assembled by legendary manager-coach Conn Smythe (whose name is associated with the Stanley Cup play-offs trophy awarded to the best player), and the team found early success under its first coach, Lester Patrick (see Patrick family), who replaced Smythe on the eve of the team’s first season as manager-coach.

After winning the division in its first season, the Rangers went on to win the league championship in its second season (1927–28) by defeating the Montreal Maroons in a series in which coach (and former defenseman) Patrick took over as goalie midway through Game 2 after Lorne Chabot injured his eye. The Rangers were the first NHL team based in the United States to win the Stanley Cup that season. By 1940, they’d made it to four more Stanley Cup finals, winning it twice (1933, 1940).

However, the team had a rougher time of it throughout the 1940s and 1960s, finishing last in their six-team conference and missing the playoffs far too often, even though four of those teams made it there every year. The squad underwent a renaissance in the late 1960s and began to frequently qualify for the postseason. The Rangers twice reached the Stanley Cup Finals, losing both times (in 1971-72 and 1978-79). (in six games to the Bruins in 1972 and in five games to the Canadiens in 1979).

The Rangers won the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1940 in the 1993–94 season, with the help of players like Mark Messier, Brian Leetch, Adam Graves, and Mike Richter. The Rangers defeated the Vancouver Canucks in seven games in the finals. It was seven years until the Rangers were able to win another Stanley Cup, despite multiple high-profile acquisitions and trades, including those of Wayne Gretzky and Luc Robitaille. The Rangers went on a seven-year playoff hiatus after the 1997–98 season.

To recap, the Rangers were back in the playoffs in 2005–06, and in 2011–12, under the leadership of Henrik Lundqvist and Marian Gaborik, the team won its first division title in 17 years and made it as far as the conference finals, where it was defeated by the New Jersey Devils. After winning the Eastern Conference finals in six games in 2013–14, the Rangers advanced to the Stanley Cup finals for the first time in 20 years, where they were defeated by the Los Angeles Kings in five games.

Despite having the best record in the NHL the previous season, the New York Rangers were unable to defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning in the conference finals. As a result of not making it out of round two in either of their next two seasons and after a disappointing season in 2017–18, the Rangers had their lowest record since 2003–04 and finished last in the Eastern Conference.

Jacob “Jake The Snake” Plante was an inventive French-Canadian goaltender in the National Hockey League who was one of the most successful of all goaltenders in the league. His full name was Joseph Jacques Omer Plante; he was better known as “Jake The Snake” (NHL). As a part of the dominant Montreal Canadiens club that won five consecutive Stanley Cups (1956-60), he pioneered the use of protective face masks by goaltenders thereafter.

Plante’s unconventional goalkeeper approach was honed as an amateur when he roamed behind his net to clear opposing players’ pucks. A shutout in the NHL playoffs was his first win in the league’s history. He would go on to win 82 shutouts over the course of 837 regular-season games and 15 shutouts in 112 postseason ones. During a 1959 game, he was hit by a slap shot and required 21 facial stitches. A face mask covered his entire face as Montreal’s sole goaltender.

Using Plante as their starting goaltender starting in 1956, the Montreal Canadiens finished the first seven times in eight seasons, earning five straight Vezina Trophies. In 1962, he was also awarded the Hart Trophy, given to the league’s top player, for his work as a Canadien. Over the course of his NHL career, he had a goals-against-average of just 2.38. Plante also played for the Edmonton Oilers of the World Hockey Association for one season (1974–75), his final in the majors. He recorded 15 victories, including one shutout.
