Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT San Jose Sharks?
American National Hockey League (NHL) club representing the United States in the Western Conference (NHL). In the Western Conference, the Sharks have one championship under their belt (2016).
From 1967 through 1976, the San Francisco Bay Area was home to an NHL franchise called the Seals, subsequently the Golden Seals. They chose San Jose since it had never had a major North American sports franchise until when Gordon and George Gund were awarded an expansion club to begin to play in 1991 by the league. Following a 0–2 start, the Sharks improved by 22 wins and qualified for the postseason in 1993–94 after being near the bottom of their division their first two seasons.
As part of their postseason run, the Sharks pulled off a stunning upset over the top-seeded Detroit Red Wings by winning their first-round playoff series in seven games. The next year, the Sharks made the playoffs once more and beat the Calgary Flames, a team seeded higher, before losing in the Western Conference quarterfinals.
The Sharks’ triumph was fleeting, as the team finished last in their division the following two seasons. After making their first postseason appearance in 1997–98, the Sharks went on a five-year run, culminating in the 2001–02 season when they won their first division title and reached the Western Conference semifinals, where they fell to the Colorado Avalanche in a seven-game series. As a result, the Sharks were denied a spot in the Stanley Cup finals two seasons later when they reached the Western Conference playoffs.
The Sharks reached the conference semifinals for the next three seasons, but each time they lost. San Jose had the best record in the NHL in 2008–09, thanks to the remarkable play of center Joe Thornton, and was the first seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. On the other hand, the Sharks were knocked out of the playoffs in the first round by the Anaheim Ducks, reversing their early playoff history. In 2009–10, the team again received the top seed in the Western Conference Playoffs, but the Chicago Blackhawks swept the conference finals.
The following postseason, the Sharks made it all the way to the Western Conference Finals before falling to the Vancouver Canucks in five games. The Sharks’ four-year winning streak came to an end in 2011–12 when they lost their first-round playoff series.
At its lowest point in the 2013–14 season, the Sharks’ postseason record was a 4–0 series loss to their crosstown rivals, the Los Angeles Kings, in the first round of the postseason after holding a 3–0 series lead. The Sharks returned to the playoffs in 2015–16 after missing out on postseason eligibility the previous season. San Jose eventually broke out of its postseason slump and won the Western Conference for the first time despite finishing fifth in the regular-season standings among the eight playoff clubs. Later, the Sharks were beaten by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup finals. In 2016–17, the Sharks returned to the postseason but were knocked out in the first round.
