Sumeet Vyas Biography:
Sumeet was born on 27 July 1983 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. After completing his schooling, he attended the R.D. National College of Mumbai.
During his school days, Sumeet aspired to be a pilot or a computer engineer. But he also had a passion for acting and publishing. Later, preferring a second choice, he gave up his college studies and began working as an assistant editor at the Mumbai editing studio.
Gradually, Sumeet started his acting career with the ‘Woh Huye Na Hamare’ TV series in 2003. For the role of ‘Sameer,’ he won a prize of 4000 per day in this show.
After that, he worked on a few more TV shows and then joined the theatre art, acting in a few web series such as ‘Permanent Roommates’ in 2014 and ‘TVF Tripling’ in 2016. Subsequently, he also tried his luck in Bollywood and worked in more than 33 films.

Sumeet decided to become a writer and an actress. For this, he made a debut on a small screen with a series called ‘Woh Huye Na Hamare’ aired on Doordarshan in 2003. He played the role of Kartik in the Indian soap opera ‘Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein’ broadcasted on NDTV Imagine during 2009-10. In 2015, he also appeared on the TV series ‘Stories by Rabindranath Tagore’ broadcast on the EPIC channel.
His first film as an actor was ‘Jashnn’ in 2009. In 2012, with the film ‘English Vinglish,’ he came to the fore by playing the role of Pakistani taxi driver Salman Khan, who is trying to learn English in New York.
