Today I will tell you about HOW TO CONTACT NITYANAND RAI.

Nityanand Rai is a prominent politician in India and now serves as the country’s Minister of State for Home Affairs in the Indian government. As a candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party, he won the general election in Ujiarpur in both 2014 and 2019, putting him in office in both years. From 2000 to the time he was elected to the parliament, he has successfully run for election as the representative of the Hajipur seat in the Bihar legislative assembly.

Nityanand Rai was born on January 1, 1966. The son of a farmer, Rai became involved with the Sangh Parivar in 1981 when he signed up to be a student activist for the ABVP. He has been a member of the Sangh Parivar ever since. On Wednesday, May 23, 2019, Rai was sworn in as Minister of State for the Department of Home Affairs. The ABVP chapter at Rai’s college was his entry point into politics. He won his college’s election for President of the Students’ Union.

At the elections for the Bihar Assembly that took place in the year 2000, Rai received a ticket for Hajipur and won. He was victorious in all four of his attempts to claim the seat. Because his home constituency was a reserved seat for SC candidates in the 2014 general election, Rai had to get his ticket for the Parliamentary election from the district next door.

He was victorious in the election and was elected to represent Ujiarpur in the House of Parliament. In the election for the Bihar Vidhan Sabha in 2016, the BJP tried to portray him as the Yadav Face to woo RJD supporters whose support was waning. After the election in 2019, he was given the position of BJP Bihar President, and he was also given the position of State Home Minister in the NDA2 Council of Ministers.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has told the Lok Sabha that the primary causes of fratricide in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) are mainly personal and domestic difficulties, family concerns, depression, and work-related challenges. This information was provided to the Lok Sabha by the MHA. According to the report, 29 members had been murdered by other staff members over five years.

This information was presented to the Lok Sabha the previous month by the Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai. “In a timely way, all CAPFs, the Assam Rifles (AR), and the NSG give leave permissible by the requirements. Personnel assigned to field formations are eligible for sixty days of Earned Leave (EL) and fifteen days of Casual Leave (CL). In contrast, soldiers assigned to static figures are suitable for thirty days of EL and eight days of CL. In addition, he said various types of leaves, as outlined in the CCS Leave Regulations, are issued according to the conditions.

Rai also revealed statistics that showed a total of 29 people had been slain in homicide occurrences between the years 2018 and 2022. He claimed that the CRPF had recorded fifteen instances, the BSF reported nine incidents, the CISF reported two incidents, and the ITBP, SSB, and AR said one event.

The Mental Health Association (MHA) established a task force with the mission of investigating reported instances of suicide and fratricide, analyzing the cases, and writing a detailed report on its findings. The task team noted that jawans get aggressive when their concerns are not handled, which was included in the draught report it provided to the government in January.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs, led by Brijlal, a member of the Rajya Sabha for the BJP, observed that the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) operated under tremendous pressure the year before. This is because the nature of their duty requires them to be posted in regions with harsh climatic conditions. As a result, to improve their mental health and lower their levels of stress, it was recommended that they take time off work at regular intervals so that they may spend more time with their families.

Nityanand Rai is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and serves as a minister for the federal government. On Wednesday, the Patna high court issued a stay in the criminal case of an electoral offense being handled against Rai before an MP/MLA court in the Araria district. When hearing a miscellaneous criminal motion submitted by Rai, a single bench of Judge Sandeep Kumar ordered that the further action of GR case no.653/2018, which the Araria court was handling, be stayed.

The attorney for Rai, Naresh Dixit, argued in front of the judge that based on a cursory reading of the FIR that the circle officer of Narpatganj filed at the time, it is clear that his client did not commit the offense that is being accused against him. During the byelection on March 9, 2018, Rai gave a public statement on the campus of Narpatganj high school. At the time, he was serving as the state president of the BJP. According to the allegations against him, he said, “Araria will become the stronghold of ISI if (the then) RJD candidate Sarfaraj Alam wins the election.”

The previous circle officer had filed a first information report (129/2018) against Rai at the Narpatganj police station. The FIR accused Rai of breaking the model code of conduct (Section 125 of the People’s Representatives Act) and hurting the religious emotions of others (section 153 of IPC). Dixit argued that the lower court took notice of the matter in April 2022, four years after it had been filed, and that there had been an improper use of legal processes against his client. The next hearing on this issue is scheduled for July.

The Ministry of home affairs provided this information. On Tuesday, the Central Government told Parliament that the current ratio of police officers to citizens was 152.80 officers for every lakh. According to the Ministry, the state with the largest police personnel was Nagaland. The state had around 1189.33 police personnel per lakh of the population, which was lower than the 1212.39 personnel sanctioned.

According to the findings, Bihar has the lowest police-public ratio in the country, with just 75.16 police officers per lakh of the population in the state. According to the government, the two other states with poor police-to-population ratios were West Bengal (97.66) and Rajasthan (120.39).

According to information provided by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the police-public ratio in India in 2013 was 138 police officers for every lakh of the country’s total population. The recruitment of police officers is a state topic, according to the Union minister Nityanand Rai, who said this in the Parliament; nonetheless, the Center has sent advisories to the state promptly to introduce improvements in the management of the police force.

According to the BSF, the sanctioned strength of police per lakh population in Uttar Pradesh is 181.75, while the actual power is 133.86. The sanctioned and actual strengths of police per lakh population in Gujarat are 174.39 and 127.82. The sanctioned and actual strengths of police per lakh population in Madhya Pradesh are 147.23 and 121.76. In Maharashtra, the sanctioned and actual strengths are respectively 186.36 and 136.45.

The Lokniti team at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) surveyed 2018 with 15,562 respondents across 22 states on perceptions about policing. The survey found that less than 25% of Indians have a high level of trust in the police (in comparison, 54% of Indians have a high level of trust in the army). In 2017, the total sanctioned strength of police forces throughout states was around 2.8 million. However, only 1.9 million police officers were hired (representing a vacancy rate of 30%).
